Speaking to images by Rowan Frewen, Susan de Muth will give a short presentation on the history of Inversions (1924) β€” the first French queer magazine β€” co-founded and edited by Cahun & Moore under a variety of pseudonyms and guises.

The workshop will follow, creating collages (both individual and collaborative) on the themes of anonymity and layers, led by Rowan Frewen, supported by zine creators Livvy Murdoch and Otto Wates (Another Mask).

Materials will be provided and participants are also encouraged to bring items they wish to incorporate.

The collages will be displayed at the end of the workshop and some may even be available for sale (artists’ choice).

No experience is necessary to participate in this workshop.
