Sarah Pucill leads a practical and discursive workshop exploring re-enactment as a method for integrating Cahun’s writing and the photographic images she made with Marcel Moore.
Saturday 7 February
5.00 pm Performance Art. Xelis de Toro presents a multilayered intervention on Cahun’s text ‘The Invisible Adventure’ using vocal improvisation, sound poetry, multilingual translation and movement. FREE EVENT.

Felicity Gee (Exeter University), President of the International Society for the Study of Surrealism, will give a short talk on Moore and Cahun’s collaborative practice, followed by a collage workshop focusing on myth and reinvention.

Working with selected texts in French, Lewis and de Muth will explore the challenges of translating the work of experimental writers from gendered languages and facilitate participants’ own rendering of the texts into English.
